FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: iron powder charge supplemented with 1.3% graphite, 2% copper, and 3.5% zinc is pressed by way of compacting discrete volumes with discrete efforts under pressure 700 MPa. Resulting stock is caked at 1100 C for 1.5 h, caked stock is cut in cross-section found taking into account density gradient of powder material, and rings are thermally fixed on plug at 600 C for 1.5 h with subsequent machining. EFFECT: optimized parameters of process.
