LOAD-LIFTING DEVICE ON VEHICLE FOR TRANSPORTATION OF DAMAGED AUTOMOBILES Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: transport engineering; vehicles furnished with loading and unloading devices for handling damaged automobiles. SUBSTANCE: device is made in form of gantry with two load-lifting levers and driving hydraulic cylinders on ends hinge connected by housing to gantry pillars and by rods, to one of arms of load-lifting levers. Horizontal beam of gantry is secured by means of bearing supports on vehicle. Synchronization mechanism has hydraulic synchronizer and lever-type mechanical converter connected with synchronizer. Hydraulic synchronizer has outer and inner sleeves installed for relative turning by above-indicated lever-type mechanical converter. Holes made in each sleeve provide communication of like spaces of above-indicated hydraulic cylinders with drain line and with pump, respectively, through spaces of inner sleeve and for overlapping in case of nonuniform travel of rods of leading drain hydraulic cylinder.
