METHOD OF REPAIR OF STRUCTURES AND GEAR FOR ITS REALIZATION Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: construction industry, routine repair of man-made structures. SUBSTANCE: method of repair of structures involves drilling or holes in body of structure with supply of conductive fixing solution to them, excitation of series of high-voltage electric discharges by discharger and subsequent movement of charger over height of hole with repetition of actions. Holes are drilled at distance 1.2-1.8 m one from another. Concentration of solution is 0.3-1.0 and number of electric discharges amounts to 40-50 per face or jointing zone and to 10-15 at other levels. Gear for realization of method has case with electrodes and solution conduit. Case is used as outer electrode 1 which lower part carries inner electrode 2 in the form of four lugs 3 arranged at angle of 90 deg with reference to one another and of 45-60 deg - to its vertical axis. In upper part lugs 3 form supporting platform 5 passing to main and additional cylinders 6,7. The latter are anchored in case by rings 8 having partitions and holes. Rings 8 are mounted for overlapping with partitions of above-lying rings of holes in below-lying rings. Partitions of ring put on supporting platform overlaps clearance between inner and outer electrodes. EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced operational characteristics. 2 cl, 2 dwg
