FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vacuum thermal treatment of small-size parts of magnetic conductors made of high-chromium magnetically soft steels. Method involves high- temperature baking of mechanically worn parts in vacuum 10-5 mm Hg and 960-980 C for 2.5-3.5 h with standardized heating and cooling rates as well as stabilizing vacuum drawback of polished parts with simultaneously depositing titanium nitride via ion-plasma technique at 350-530 C. EFFECT: reduced effort, increased service life of parts, excluded deformation, and improved workability of process. 3 cl, 1 tbl
