SUBSTANCE: formation of protective coatings on metal parts of endoscopes involves machining stainless-steel part followed by electrolytic polishing for 2 min at current density 18-25 A/sq.dm and anodization for 8-10 min at current density 1.8-2.5 A/sq.dm, ratio of currents being 10:1 and electrolyte temperature 75-80 C. EFFECT: improved procedure.
