FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: processed part is dipped in electrolyte to form gas-vapor envelope around said part for discharge to be initiated between said part and said electrolyte by feeding electric potential to said part. Note here that said processed part is made of titanium alloy containing vanadium in amount of 3.5-6.0 wt %. Electric potential of 340-360 V is applied to said part and aqueous solution is used as the electrolyte at the following ratio of components: 30 - 50 g/l of KF·2H2O and 2-5 g/l of CrO3. Note also that grinding is performed at 75°C to 85°C for at least 1.5 min.

EFFECT: higher quality and reliability of processing, lower labor input due to single-step process.
