FIELD: restoration of damaged lining of furnace. SUBSTANCE: mixture of particles of refractory material and fuel is discharged from outlet hole at end of end-piece in flow of gas to surface of lining where fuel particles are burnt in reaction zone generating heat for softening and melting discharged articles of refractory material and forming the binding mass of weld seam of refractory material. Observation of distance between outlet hole of end-piece and reaction zone is effected by means of chamber; electron signal is generated which shows distance ("working zone") between outlet hole of end-piece and reaction zone.
