FIELD: measurement of local temperature of human skin, temperature gradients. SUBSTANCE: thermometer sensing element is made in the form of series-connected thermocouples. Even junctions of thermocouples are brought out behind the end face of one casing of the probe, and the odd junctions - behind the end face of the second casing of the probe. The thermocouple wires are insulated; at the end of the probe casings terminate in non-insulated junctions. One of the probe casings may be made in the form of a collar for fixing the position on the body, or in the form of an elastic bracelet. A metal plate is secured on their inner side, with the respective thermocouple junctions brought out to it. The brush of thermocouple wires terminating in junctions makes it possible to vary the area of contact of the junctions with the surface under examination in the process of measurement, thus varying the thermal lag.
