FIELD: textile industry, in particular, production of fleecy threads by electric flocking. SUBSTANCE: method involves directing thread through layer of glue continuously fed to point of contact with thread in countercurrency with direction of movement of thread. Glue selected for process has viscosity of 300 mPa/sec. Glue feeding speed is 23-62 m/min. In the process of continuous feeding, glue layer thickness is controlled. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method and improved quality of fleecy thread. 1 tbl
