FIELD: textile engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has parabolic reflector and cylindrical infrared emitter. Curvature of parabolic reflector may be changed by varying focal distance. Infrared emitter may be moved in plane of symmetry of parabolic reflector, parallel to its base. Apparatus may be used for drying of textile materials and allows irradiation field intensity to be uniform or intensity of some predetermined part of field to be increased.
