FIELD: textile industry; winding of thread-like materials with fluffy surface; soft winding of flocked thread or other thread-like material. SUBSTANCE: device for soft winding of thread has spindle and spindle blade installed in socket with lubricating oil with contact in one point, means to maintain spindle in vertical position and drive providing rotation of spindle. Spindle blade is cylindrical, provided is with chamfer and is installed on ball located on socket bottom with diameter not exceeding 0.98 of diameter of socket inner space. Chamfer is located in middle part of spindle blade dipped in socket, its height being 0.7-0.8 of height of this part. Drive transmits rotation to spindle through cup.
