FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: equipment is heated to sodium vacuum distillation temperature and sodium vapors are passed through absorber of radionuclide impurities, such as cesium, at 360-420 C; then sodium vapors are condensed. Graphite in the form of spherical granule: granules, 2.5-4 mm in diameter, is usually employed as absorber. EFFECT: improved safety of decontamination process; provision for separating radionuclide impurities from sodium and accumulating them in smallest possible space. 4 cl, 1 dwg
