FIELD: medical engineering; prophylaxis and treatment of osteochondrosis of all sections of vertebral column, arthrosis of large joints of lower extremities, disturbance of venous blood circulation of lower extremities and pelvis, as well as improvement of spinal cord and brain function. SUBSTANCE: to obtain dosed load of extension proportional to weight load to which joints and vertebral column are subjected in vertical position of patient, the latter is secured by cruses and feet to stationary part of table bed, while back, pelvis and head of patient are positioned on independent parts of table bed which are free to move along table. This done, table is turned so that patient's head is placed lower than the level of feet. EFFECT: more efficient prophylaxis and treatment of patients.
