FIELD: medicine; traumatology and orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: patient's body is placed at inclination angle of 50 deg in relation to horizontal plane so that his (her) head would be turned upwards with simultaneous applying the weight of 1.5-2.8 kg onto neck segment of vertebral column for 5-20 min. Region of pathologically altered zones of vertebral column is heated up to temperature of its maximum threshold sensitivity. Apparatus comprises table 1 adapted to accommodate patient's body and to immobilize it thereon with the help of body fixing element 3 and head fixing element 6. The latter is realized as Glisson loop. Table 1 is installed on foundation plate 11 with a possibility of rotation relative to axis 12, and is provided with heating elements 13.
