FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: installation has body with power supply and control unit, fan and pump arranged in it. Irradiator with ultraviolet radiation source in the form of gaseous-discharge lamp is secured to body. Gaseous-discharge lamp is installed vertically in holder. Power supply and control unit has high-voltage DC source, ignition pulse generator, storage capacitor, and control circuit connected to DC source and to ignition pulse generator. lamp is connected to power supply and control unit by means of pulse transformer the windings of which are wound on ferrite core. Discharge circuit includes capacitor, secondary winding of transformer and lamp. EFFECT: high efficiency of disinfection and deodorization processes. 3 dwg
