FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device contains an irradiator with a pulse gas-discharge lamp installed in the reflector and a power and control unit connected to the irradiator. The power and control unit include a pulse transformer, ignition pulse generator connected to the primary winding of the pulse transformer, storage capacitor, battery charger, connected to the storage capacitor and secondary winding of the pulse transformer and a control circuit connected to the charger. The pulse gas discharge lamp, storage capacitor and the secondary winding of the pulse transformer are electrically interconnected thus forming a discharge circuit. The irradiator additionally contains a diffuser installed in the middle zone of the reflector, one position sensor, and an electronic key is installed in the power and control unit, with input connected to one of the outputs of the control circuit, output connected to the ignition pulse generator input, and its control input connected with the irradiator position sensor.
EFFECT: increased stability and predictability of the resulting therapeutic effect.
