FIELD: cleaning gases and liquids from suspended particles. SUBSTANCE: device includes housing with inlet and outlet pipe unions, shutters made in form of circular checkers whose surfaces are located at angle relative to axis of device. Taper checkers are directed by their narrow portion towards motion of flow of medium being cleaned; device is also provided with hopper for accumulating suspended particles equipped with outlet pipe union, flow swirler made in form of rod with guide member in form of multiturn spatial spiral which is mounted along vertical axis of device inside taper checkers. Detachable housing consists of cylindrical portion, upper cover, lower cover with bearing member; circular partitions are located between circular checkers. Each circular partition, but for lower one, is mounted in such position that its inner edge is in contact with outer lateral surface of underlying taper checker whose lower edge is in contact with outer lateral surface of underlying circular partition. Hopper for collecting the particles is made in form of circular chamber located in lower portion of housing and bounded at the top by lower circular partition whose inner edge is in contact with surface of bearing member of lower cover.
