FIELD: metallurgy, in particular, steel continuous casting. SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of steel from casting ladle into vacuum chamber; building-up of the required process residual pressure; steel treatment in vacuum chamber; supply of steel to tundish through discharge nozzle; separation of tundish by transverse partitions into middle and extreme zones; supply of steel to middle zone of tundish; reduction and alloying of steel in middle with aluminum; supply of slag mixture onto metal meniscus into tundish; supply of metal from tundish to mold. In course of continuous casting, position of level of steel in tundish is set below the level of discharge over lauder and varied in height within 0.01-0.05 of height of steel working level from the level of discharge over lauder. In this case, consumption of slag mixture in middle zone of tundish is set up within 1.2-1.5 of its consumption in extreme zones. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl
