FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method of the metal continuous casting includes the feed of the molten metal from the pouring ladle to the intermediate one up to the level. Then from the intermediate ladle the metal is fed up to the level into the moulds from which the continuously cast ingots are extracted. The slag mixture is fed to the metal meniscus in the intermediate ladle and in the moulds. The working reservoir of the intermediate ladle is divided into separate zones being in communication with each other. During the continuous casting the metal is guided from one zone to another in the horizontal direction under the slag layer. EFFECT: enhanced quality of the metal continuous casting. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
