FIELD: wood-working industry; equipment for production of cants from round timber and for production of chips. SUBSTANCE: the offered plant has frame 1 carrying feed mechanism 2 and milling-and-sawing mechanism 3 and frame 4 carrying outfeed table 5. Feed mechanism 2 is made in form of longitudinal chain conveyor 6, main centering device in form of V-shaped rules 12 and additional centering device 20 for worked timber, pressure rollers 19. Milling-and-sawing mechanism includes milling-and-sawing heads 25 and 26 installed on horizontal shafts 29, 30 located inside extensible tail spindles 34, 35 installed in bodies 36, 37 secured to frame 1. Milling-and-sawing heads 25, 26 have common drive of synchronous motion made in form of rocker 38 and two tie-rods. One ends of tie-rods are hinged to rocker 38, and the other end, is hinged to tail spindles. Milling-and-sawing mechanism 3 has guides 52, 53 for working timber. Outfeed table 5 is made in form of roller conveyor with spiral corrugated rollers 56. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 11 cl, 7 dwg
