FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention concerns preparing charge for blast- furnace smelting through making pellets from fine-dispersion wet iron- ore concentrates using binding additives. The latter are naturally occurring materials constituting products of chemical weathering aging of carbonate and clayey minerals, in particular, amorphous silica mineral containing 5-50% of fine calcium carbonate, 8-20% of amorphous silica, 5-15% of zeolite, and clayey constituent. EFFECT: reduced cost due to utilizing inexpensive materials. 2 tbl
