FIELD: X-ray spectrometry of rocks. SUBSTANCE: starting mixture of sample is placed on working surface of substrate, sample is heated to temperature exceeding melting temperature of mixture. Then melt is cooled on plate in the course of 10-15 s by means of plunger heated to 400 C to obtain sample solidified by form of substrate and later sample is cooled to room temperature and sent for analysis and examination. EFFECT: increased efficiency of process of preparation of powdery samples. 1 tbl
