FIELD: ceramic materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves impregnating cotton fibers with paraffin and coating them with thermoplastic slip mass 0.011-0.11 mm thick. Then fibers are laid layerwise into metal mold which is heated to 40-50 C, simultaneously compacting each layer under a pressure of 0.005-0.01 MPa, the mold is heated to 57-60 C and held at this temperature for 0.5-1.0 h. Next, the material is heat treated, channels in the die are blown with compressed air and the mass is baked at 1550-1600 C. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl
