FIELD: X-ray spectrometry analysis of ore after its acidic decomposition and extraction of determined elements. SUBSTANCE: gold in extract is determined after extraction concentration with the use of comparison solution let pass through extraction stage. For this extract is dried on backing of cellulose filter. Element not contained in extract and having lines of X-ray spectrum excited simultaneously with analytical lines of gold but not coinciding with them and inert with respect to extract is applied to backing in advance in the amount of not more than 10.0 microgram/sq.cm. Content of gold is found by formula , where Cx and Cxst are contents of element in analyzed sample and in comparison solution; Ix and Ixst are intensities of analytical line of determined element measured in sample and in comparison solution. Parameter P to diminish influence of measurement error is determined by ratio of intensities of analytical line of applied element measured in comparison solution and in analyzed sample. Final result is found by formula Ci=C•P, where Ci is content of determined element. EFFECT: improved efficiency of proposed method. 1 tbl
