FIELD: analytical methods. SUBSTANCE: initial mixture of sample and flux is heated in precious metal or precious metal alloy bowl with cupric oxide as oxidant in quantity 25% of the weight sample. Melt is transferred onto graphite substrate directly in furnace, into which substrate is placed 30 sec before fusion is terminated. Resultant melt is molded and cooled to ambient temperature.
