FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: edge filter includes housing with inlet and outlet branch pipes, filter element with disks rigidly fitted on shaft, scrapers, settler and sediment discharge device. It is additionally provided with shaft on which disks are rigidly fitted. Additional shaft is kinematically linked with drive or with main shaft. Disks of main and additional shafts overlap each other in alternating manner forming filtering slots between them. Shafts with disks form parallel engageable rotors mounted for opposite rotation. Disk overlapping sections move in direction opposite to direction of feed of material to be filtered through filtering slots. Scrapers are mounted between disks on sides opposite to filtering slots.
