FIELD: oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: drive of oil-well sucker rod pump has motor 2 whose shaft 3 is mechanically coupled with shaft 9 of drum 10 through reduction gear 4 and slider-crank mechanism 5 including shaft 6 of crank, crank journal 7 with adjustable length of crank, and connecting rod 8. All these devices are mounted on common base frame 11. Flexible traction member 11 passes over free turning support shaft 12 whose axis is parallel to axis of drum. Flexible member is coupled with string of pump sucker rods 13. Suspension 14 of flexible traction member is secured on drum. Mechanical coupling of electric motor with drum is effected through slider-crank mechanism and gear train. Flywheel 17 is installed on electric motor shaft. Connecting rod head 18 is coupled with neck of eccentric half-axle 19 of rocking toothed sector 20 which has its own central shaft 21. Gearing is in meshing with gear 22 secured on free end of drum shaft. Suspension 14 of flexible traction member is secured on drum by means of axle 23 installed in recess of slot on outer side surface of drum in parallel with its axis and passed through corresponding eye 24 of suspension.
