FIELD: electrically-heated thermal tubes; heating systems, liquid heating plants, hotbeds and hothouses. SUBSTANCE: thermal tube has hermetic housing 1 partially filled with conducting heat-transfer agent . Water is mainly used for the purpose. It also has hermetic housing 2 with evaporation zone 3 and condensation zone 4; it is made from metal and is provided with dielectric protective casing 5 tightly surrounding it on the outside. Housing is provided with base 6 at the end in evaporation zone. This base is made fro dielectric material. Heater made in form of two electrodes 7 and 8 is secured on this base inside housing. Electrodes are made from electrolysis-resistant material; electrode 7 is located along axis of housing and electrode 8 is metal housing proper. Sealing plug 9 closes the housing at the end in evaporation zone. This plug may be fitted in the course of evacuation. EFFECT: enhanced operational and economical efficiency at simple construction and facilitated manufacture. 1 dwg
