FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: this can be used for reboring spherical surfaces of holes having end recesses. According to method, machining is performed by disk-shape multiple-cutter head 3 with its axis of rotation 2 being located at angle to axis of article rotation 1. Frequency of rotation of multiple-cutter head 3 is higher than frequency of rotation of article. Multiple-cutter head 3 is introduced into hole of article being machined through end recesses in plane which is perpendicular to plane formed by axes of article and multiple-cutter head 3 in direction along normal towards head. Diameter of multiple-cutter head and angle between axes of rotation of head and tool are selected according to specified conditions. EFFECT: high efficiency. 5 dwg
