FIELD: biotechnology, microbiology, food production. SUBSTANCE: method involves bioconversion of starch-containing raw with microorganisms in the presence of a mixture of two substances: chlorophenylhydroxyacetic acid ammonium salt and molybdenum complex compound. The source of the first salt is 2-chlorophenylhydroxyacetic acid N-tris-(2-hydroxyethyl)-ammonium salt; the source of molybdenum complex compound is 1-hydroxyethylidene diphosphonate trihydroxymolybdate (VI+) ammonium or sodium. Mixture of these substances taken at ratio = (1:1)-(1:1)-10 at amount 1 x I0-9 - 1 x I0-2 g/l is added to nutrient medium at biomass culturing at any stage of culture accumulation cycle. Method ensures to increase protein content in the obtained food product by 9-44% and output of bioconversion process by 9-33% as compared with the known methods. EFFECT: improved method of preparing, increased yield and protein content.
