FIELD: food engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has vertical cylindrical housing with bottom, multiple-thread auger axially mounted within housing and having variable coil spacing, cylindrical shell mounted within housing concentrically and in spaced relation to auger coils. Shell has crystal mass opening disposed in its upper part and is provided with piston flexibly connected with its upper part to housing. Apparatus is further provided with auger drive. Lower part of shell is made conical and narrowing toward bottom and has cut extending from shaft to wall. Auger coil spacing is reducing to upper part of shell. One coil of auger is made open. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
