FIELD: traumatology. SUBSTANCE: one measures interstitial pressure in intact and damaged skin zones and then compares interstitial pressure values in equal number of sites in symmetrical skin regions to calculate ratio of these values in damaged regions to those in intact ones. When calculated ratio lies within the range 1.3-1.5, mild degree of thermal damage is stated; when exceeds 1.5, thermal damage of cutaneous covering is regarded as medium or severe. EFFECT: facilitated diagnostics. 1 tbl
