SUBSTANCE: entry edges of splines in proposed spline involute connection of gearbox and holes of movable sleeve are made at right angle without chamfers. Such arrangement of entry edges of splines provides their simultaneous engagement and, consequently, load is taken by all splines simultaneously which prevents rounding off and chipping of splines.
