FIELD: metallurgical industry. SUBSTANCE: refractory is manufactured from blend comprising, wt.-%: lime-silicate clinker with particle size of 3-0 mm, 22-66.9; lime-silicate periglass clinker with particle size 0.09-0 mm, 20-40; periglass with particles size of 1.00 mm, 8.1-30; and binder, 5-9. Characteristics: slag resistance is 9-12 %; thermal stability (1300 C water) is 5 or 6 heat cycles; initial deformation temperature under load conditions is 0.2 H/sq mm) is 1610-1620 C; ultimate compression strength of specimens heat treated at 120, 800, 1300 and 1550 C is 61-77; 36-52; 44-60 and 62-79 H/sq mm, respectively; maximum application temperature is 1700- 1750 C. EFFECT: improved properties of the refractory.
