SUBSTANCE: sealing device has holes of intricate profile which come together over smooth wavy line and join in plane by their opposite sides, thus sealing the holes; during passage of article to be worked, plane changes into intricate profile because sealing device has panel and flange clamped by means of strainers. Pressure member positioned between panel and flange is shaped in the form and may change its configuration in course of operation. It embraces thin metal band made in the form of closed envelope at points of bends and is provided with locking members and compensating loops filled with braids. Horseshoe-shaped plates embracing pressure member are located for motion relative to one another over side planes. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 12 dwg
