FIELD: mechanical engineering; rotary engines. SUBSTANCE: energy carrier under pressure is fed into engine. Fuel-air mixture is formed by simultaneously delivering fuel and compressed air into operating cylinders. Compressed air stream breaks fuel stream and turbulizes mixing process. Cylindrical rotary engine has operating cylinder, additional pneumatic cylinder with end face covers, intermediate end face cover with channel for delivery of compressed air from pneumatic cylinder into operating cylinder saturation space. Each cylinder accommodates cylindrical rotor with radial and end face seals. Rotors are secured coaxially and rigidly on common straight shaft. Radial seal of operating cylinder rotor is located with advance in direction of rotation relative to radial seal of pneumatic cylinder rotor. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 6 dwg
