FIELD: methods and devices for manufacture of heat exchange elements. SUBSTANCE: heat exchange element consists of main tubular part and fins which increase its heat exchanger surface. Cross section of main parts has larger width relative to its height, that is why fins are formed from sheets wound off drums obtaining surface with waves or folds which are then fixed on wide sides of main part and are welded, thus ensuring continuous process without great number of mechanisms. Special device is provided for application of profiled finned sheets and securing them to main part. It is good practice to use laser heads for welding the sheets. EFFECT: facilitated process of forming finned heat exchanger surface and enhanced economical efficiency. 14 cl, 4 dwg
