FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: primary radiation 1 is directed normally to jacket 3, secondary pulse inversely-diffused radiation from central part of face of blade 4 is registered by means of collimated detector 5, angle between axes of collimators of source 1 and detector 5 is recorded, detector 5 is turned around axis parallel to motor axis till the moment of abrupt change in intensity of inversely-diffused radiation in detector 5 from lower surface of jacket 3. Then this angle of turn is recorded, and clearance sought for is determined by angle values obtained and distance from axis of turn of detector 5 from surface of jacket 3.
