FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has X-ray tube with cold cathode and pulse high voltage source which has converter, primary power accumulator with low-voltage commutator, pulse transformer, secondary accumulator and high-voltage gas-discharge commutator. All units are located in single housing. High-voltage commutator is designed as two-electrode gas discharger with alternating gap. One electrode is designed as two coaxial members, stationary and moving ones. Moving member of electrode is connected to inertia mass and is mounted movement along discharger axis.
