SUBSTANCE: method involves cultivating basic plant explants on callusogenic medium in first passage in the presence of auxin phytohormones; obtaining embryonic callus; cultivating embryonic callus in second and subsequent passages on callusogenic medium ; transplanting on plant regeneration medium; obtaining regenerants and providing additional growing of regenerants to obtain seed generation; selecting somaclonal changed forms. Water chemical potential in callusogenic medium of second and subsequent passages is reduced to such values, that further cultivation of calluses causes occurrence of first signs of necrosis in the form of initial drying stage and browning, with plant regenerative capacity of calluses being maintained.
