FIELD: food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves extruding semifinished product; cutting semifinished product, with pressure being reduced at extruder nozzle outlet. Cutting and pressure reduction are effectuated by knife with cutting blade surface contour made in the form of screw propeller. Apparatus has extruder with auger and knife mounted at extruder nozzle outlet. Knife cutting blades are positioned radially about its axis of rotation.
