FIELD: weld reparation of parts. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to repairing parts by weld deposition technique appropriate for parts operating in cyclic thermomechanical loading: rolls of machines for continuously founding blanks, working rolls of hot rolling mills, etc. Defects are removed by mechanical way, after which multilayer weld deposition and subsequent machining are effected. According to invention, weld deposition is performed with two layers: inner one with carbon content not higher than 0.20% and outer wear resistant layer. Welding current intensity in inner layer deposition step is chosen equal to 1.1-1.4 that in wear resistant layer deposition step. Thickness of inner layer is 0.01-0.3 that of wear resistant layer.
