FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: blast-furnace smelting method involves loading to the furnace of iron-ore charge and coke, supply to tuyeres of heated oxygen-saturated air, natural gas, tapping of cast iron and slag and simultaneous increase in oxygen flow rate by 0.15-0.20% in relation to blowing air and basicity of slag by 0.010-0.015 at increase in concentration of titanium in cast iron by 0.01%, over 0.10%. In addition, to central zone of blast-furnace mouth there loaded is oxidating additive with content of iron monoxide 20-50%, particle size of 5-100 mm, in quantity of 0.5-15.0% of iron-ore charge flow rate.
EFFECT: uniform forced blast-furnace run is provided; efficiency is increased; specific rate of coke and cast iron losses with slag are reduced.
