FIELD: methods of treatment of wastes. SUBSTANCE: starting reaction mixture consisting for example of carbon-containing wastes is transformed into dissolved monatomic components for further oxidation. Starting mixture is introduced into melt bath which causes transformation of entire starting mixture into monatomic components such as monatomic carbon at respective ( sufficient) temperature. Monatomic components are dissolved in melt bath. Oxidizer is forced into melt bath at intensity sufficient for making the oxidizer undergo exothermic reaction with dissolved monatomic components for heating at least part of melt bath. Then heated part is subjected to action of starting mixture; thus entire starting mixture is transformed into x monatomic components and all monatomic components which are to be oxidized in melt bath are dissolved in this bath transforming the starting mixture into dissolved monatomic components for further oxidation.
