FIELD: transport; lighting engineering. SUBSTANCE: method comes to interruption of luminous flux from vehicle headlights, propagation of luminous flux in form of light pulses and synchronization of light pulses in time. According to invention, luminous flux is interrupted for time τo with additional radiation of light pulses, duration τ1, and pulse spacing τ2 in direction of blinding vehicle; synchronization of light pulses in time is made according to condition where τo is headlight switch off time for interruption of luminous flux; τmax is maximum value of time duration of additionally radiated light pulse corresponding to non-blinding action; τ1 is time duration of additionally radiated light pulse; τ3 is time duration of delay of switching off and on of headlights; τ2 is time duration of spacings between each additionally radiated light pulse. one of design version of device has photodetector, pulse shaper and headlight operation electronic control circuit. According to invention, electronic circuit is made in form of second shaper of pulses, duration τo, headlight change-over circuit and third shaper of pulses, duration τ1. Pulse shaper output is connected to input of third pulse shaper whose output is connected to input of second pulse shaper and to electric circuit of head lighting for shaping additional light pulses. Output of second pulse shaper is connected to input of switching circuit whose outputs are connected to electric circuits of headlight operation manual change-over switch for positive switching off high beam and to electric circuits of head lighting for switching on low beam.
