SUBSTANCE: invention is related to mining, namely to method of underground gasification. Method includes arrangement of horizontal well sections in coal layer, wells linkage, ignition, draught supply and discharge of productive gas. Horizontal sections of wells in coal layer are arranged with length that at least twice exceeds distance between wells. Wells are arranged on layer soil. Wells are arranged with diametre that makes at least 0.25-0.8 from layer capacity, for this purpose, directional drilling plants are used. Blow well used is well arranged downstream. Blowing composition includes dispersed carbon-bearing material.

EFFECT: stable production of high-calorie gas with high completeness of coal layer stocks gasification, independently on its capacity and coal strength; simplified realisation of method.
