FIELD: mining industry; may be used in mineral opencast mining. SUBSTANCE: method involves formation of technogenic deposit from substandard ores and wastes of ore concentration in working out space of open cast alongside with deposition of overburden rocks. Technogenic deposit is laid on preliminarily placed impermeable layer of sandy-argillaceous sediments and protective layer from rock fine fraction. In so doing, formation of technogenic deposit, protective and impermeable layers, filling internal and external dumps, working of the next stage of open cast field are carried out simultaneously and after completion of formation of technogenic deposit, it is treated by leaching; mining of the main deposit is continued. EFFECT: more complete recovery of useful component and reduced labor input in opencast mining of steeply-dipping elongated deposits. 3 dwg
