FIELD: machine engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine includes cylinder 1 whose bottom is in the form of base of truncated-cone strut 2 provided with ring 3 in its upper portion, upper surface of said ring being base of combustion chamber 4 defined by inner surface of piston 5 and inner surface of cone strut 2. Hollow piston 5 has cone inner cavity. Base of piston 5 adjoins to inner portion of base 6 of cylinder bottom. Piston 5 has inner bead 7 in its upper portion. In lateral part near its very base cylinder 1 has inlet opening 8 with valve 9. In base of combustion chamber 4 on upper portion of strut 2 of cylinder 1 there are spark plug 10 and opening 11 with valve 12 for discharging exhaust products. In central part cylinder 1 has window 13 for discharging exhaust gases. Inlet opening 8 is joined with pipeline 14 for introducing working mixture to cylinder 1. Sealing ring 15 in lower portion of piston 5 prevents early discharging exhaust gases. Lug 16 of upper portion of piston is designed for mounting connecting rod 17 joined with mechanism 18.
