FIELD: production of helical charged-particle beams. SUBSTANCE: wireless solenoid is, essentially, set of two high-power and high-current beams of opposite-polarity charged particles and solenoid coil conductor is presented by narrow flow of charged particles of one polarity, such as, electrons coiled around other straight narrow flow of changed particles of opposite polarity, such as ions, formed inside and lengthwise of high-power laser beam; straight narrow flow should be formed from heavier particles possessing higher energy than coiled flow. Solenoids of desired characteristics can be shaped due to great length of flows in atmosphere, their energy, angle of electron flow admission to central flow. EFFECT: enlarged length and functional capabilities of solenoid due to eliminated energy loss for conductor heating. 2 dwg
