FIELD: surgery. SUBSTANCE: patient's skin is incised along projection of synostosis ends, followed by separating phalanges through these incisions. Traction is practised in frontal plane by separating phalanges from each other with help of rods with stop members, rods being passed through openings formed in plates. Once this stage of operation terminated, surgeon must proceed to epidermatoplasty which represents final stage of operation. EFFECT: surgical intervention is less traumatic; better functional results.
